At the Annual General Meeting of the QMCA, the 2012 Executive was declared elected.

Under the Constitution of the Association, there is a requirement to have an election for executive positions each year.  A formal invitation for nominations for the 2012 Executive was sent to all members on 7 October.  Nominations closed on 21 October.  One nomination was received for each position and, therefore, there was no requirement for a ballot.  Pursuant to the Constitution, the persons nominated for each position are declared elected.

At the QMCA Annual Dinner held at the Sofitel Brisbane on Thursday, 6 October 2011, the winner off the 2011 Project Safety Excellence Award was announced.
