Construction Skills Queensland Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) is an industry led organisation supporting employers, employees, apprentices, trainees and career seekers within Queensland’s construction industry. Construction Training Centre CTC is the industry’s centre of excellence based in Salisbury, from where a range of public and private training providers deliver a huge range of training programs. Since its inception in 1999 the Centre has continued to grow and its Social Enterprise Programs are recognized as delivering excellence in training and employment for many of our region’s most disadvantaged groups. During the Equine Flu crisis, CTC helped maintain workers within the racing industry. During the GFC, CTC became a major employer of apprentices to retain them in the industry. CTC has recently become a key provider of flood recovery services for South East Queensland and is poised to assist in moving the township of Grantham. All this has been achieved without drawing on industry funds. With a solid and profitable track record, CTC is now embarking on the next phase of its development. The recently completed Master Plan proposes the development of an additional 20,000 square meters of buildings constructed with the highest green credentials in mind.
